Guy Bull Tail was born on 13 Aug 1912 in Crow Agency, Big Horn, Montana, United States, son of Simon Bull Tail (~1876–~1939) and Stella Pretty Sweat House (1882–1928).^[1]

Guy married Margaret Blaine (born on 16 Jun 1916; daughter of James Blaine and Ethel (Plenty Hawk) Blaine). Their children were:

• Robert Bull Tail (1938–1981)
• Rosebud Bull Tail (1940–1999)

Guy died on 21 Mar 1961 in Lodge Grass, Big Horn County, Montana, United States, aged 48. He was buried in Lodge Grass Cemetery, Lodge Grass, Big Horn County, Montana.^[1]
